Week 16 - Panic

I casually strolled into the bank. I took out one thousand pounds. As I was about to leave, a shrill, ear-piercing alarm rang out. Soon, there were policemen in every direction. I don’t know why but I panicked. I looked in front and behind. Which way? In a flash I was on the run – my heart pounding and my blood cold. My desperate mind searched for a hiding place. Suddenly, I remembered an ancient, hidden tree house I used to play in when I was much younger. I scooted up its mossy ladder, and into it. Finally, I felt safe.
