Week 14 - I put I my hand in the box and then….

I was about to stuff the cookie into my mouth, when then the doorbell rang. I looked at the cookie, put it back in the jar and strolled to the door. On the doorstep a box sat, but for some reason it had a hole in the top of it. I took the box into the kitchen, and put my hand in into it. I felt something fluffy and then something wet! I sharply withdrew my hand and then I tentatively lifted the box’s lid. Suddenly, a pair of sapphire blue eyes stared up at me, it was a kitten! I stroked it affectionately until it went back to sleep.
