Week 5- The Big Fire

Jackson leaned forward to take a closer look at the picture. He was being dragged around an art gallery in London by his Mum, and was thoroughly bored. However, this picture was different. The steam from the trains funnel shrouded the platform in a cloak of fog. Suddenly, I heard the piercing siren of a fire engine. I looked up to see a huge group of what seemed to be eagles with bat-like wings; spraying water over a ginormous fire. My mouth fell open when I realised that they were in fact, firemen! I suddenly turned around and saw a train charging strait at me like a bull!

  1. Hi Peter,
I loved the idea about the picture being in an art gallery and I thought you had some great descriptions in your writing. Was it you or Jackson who was looking at this picture?
