Week 4- The African Apartheid

On a lovely sunny summers day, my friends and I were walking happily. The birds were singing and the flowers were swaying in the wintery breeze. All of this, changed later that day... 'Mum! Mum! The police have arrested because he forgot his pass!' Shouted Nalidi, desperately. Indeed her father had been arrested for he had forgotten to bring his pass to the station, while the police raided (and trashed)the place. 'Oh... Your father always forgets small things, but now his pass?! Your father will pay the price for that!' Sure, this was everyday life during the South African apartheid...

  1. I really enjoyed reading your 100 Word Challenge. I love it when the prompt is used to highlight a problem or issue. Sadly what you described was the case in South Africa during the apartheid.
Keep up the great work. I look forward to reading more of your adventures.

  2. Well done, Minsung. Even though you only have 100 words you have managed to create one atmosphere and change to another through the story.
